Christmas, just the two of us, was still fun!
Jim got his traditional tie from Unca Bob. This time it was a bigger surprise: it was one of Bill's ties. Oh Bill, what were you thinking?
Bob still wanted to shop for Jim, so he gave in to his evil impulse and bought these (sometimes appropriate) boxers. Cute, huh?
Pat got a book from Lynn, and a CD from Jim. (Susan Boyle; some of it good, some you have to be in the mood for piano lounge music.)
We had a quiet day, talked to Rebecca and David and Pat's family (Mom, Lynn, Jenn). Not quite as good as being with family, but almost. +of+first+nativity.jpg)

Holy cow, those are whopper gifts for Dad. Love the tie, for real. I'll bet Bill got a lot of attention for it. And the boxers--stylish!

It would have been nice to have had you for Christmas but it looks like you all had a nice, quiet, fun time together. So that makes me happy.
