Sadie Mae

Last weekend we added a new addition to our family: Sadie Mae! Now that Jim is home all day, it was time for a companion. We got her from a rescue organization. After our application was approved, her foster mom brought her along on the "home visit" and inspection. I guess we passed! When Carla left, Sadie went to the door and cried. It was heartbreaking. She did that for a few minutes, then Jim got the leash and had her stay in the family room with us. It worked.

Sadie is a terrier mix, about a year old. She's about 21 pounds, but looks bigger because her legs are long. She is very mellow and sweet, and has pretty coloring. She has become comfortable in our house in less than a week, and we love her. She likes to lick toes! You can imagine what that does to Mr. Ticklish. We're very happy with our new little one. Ya'll come visit and meet her, anytime!
